Setting goals is an important part of running a business, not only because it determines the direction you go in, but also because it keeps you motivated to actually get the job done. This also applies to Motherhood. Still, coming up with goals you want your business to accomplish may not always be as easy as it seems. With this in mind, we have come up with 3 goals that every business should set. Especially when you are juggling so many flaming balls.
1/ Making your meetings more productive It’s safe to say that even the slightest changes in the way you run your business can have a huge effect on your company. That’s why it’s very important that you constantly strive towards improving your meetings. Today, there are loads of technologies that can make your meetings more effective. For example, you can start using Zoom to include partners who aren’t there in the meeting. Programs just as Trello can also help streamline tasks and delegating.
2/ Building a strong online presence Every business needs a strong online presence. First of all, this means you’ll need a well designed website, where your customers will be able to browse your products or services. You’ll also want your website to be mobile-friendly, since the number of smartphone and tablet users is constantly increasing. We ourselves are finding that over 75% of users visiting our site is from a mobile device. Last but not least, you should put some effort into building a social media presence for your business as well. Facebook and Instagram play a huge role in today’s business world, as they allow businesses to directly connect with their customers.
3/ Making your brand better In order for your business to succeed, you’ll have to make sure you have a strong brand. This means it may be the right time to consider redesigning your logo and even think about the idea of renaming your business. There are marketing experts who can help you out with projects like this, but if you put enough effort and time into it, you should be able to do it on your own. Just don’t forget to check whether there are any other businesses with a similar logo, as confusing your customers is never a good idea. These 3 goals are what we have focused on initially to ensure our business moves in the right direction.
We hope that by accomplishing all of them, we'll be able to provide a solid service to you!
